Saavedra constructs pictorial fields from earth-based pigments, sedimented textures and gestures that echo ancestral memory. Her work navigates the fragile border between rootedness and displacement, between the intimate knowledge of land and the homogenizing rhythm of global modernity. Each painting becomes a site of excavation, recovering traces of identity, heritage  and the silent persistence of origin beneath contemporary surfaces.
